Authorized agents shall have access to customer's premises at all reasonable times for the purpose of reading meters, making repairs, making inspections, removing utility property, or for any other purpose incident to the service.
Maintain a clear path through your yard to the electric meter. It will help to keep the area in front of the meter open and free of vegetation or anything that can block a clear view of the dials.
Always report a power outage.
Check your breakers, and see if your neighbors have power.
During an outage, turn off electrical appliances and unplugging major electronics, including computers and televisions.
